Is It Worth?

All those efforts, all those replies, all those explanations, all that energy and those emotions spent? Worth it?

Our emotions are the most precious investment. You agree, right? Why do we make this investment? We look for returns, higher returns. We want happiness, calmness, bliss! If we get nothing out of it and rather worse, if we suffer in it- leave!

Stop being the one who always makes efforts, relax, and let the ship sink. Yes... let it sink!!

This is about any bond we form with others, with our buds, that special someone, or anyone else we have given importance in our lives.

We disrespect ourselves when we ask for bare minimum things like appreciation and reciprocation.

Nothing will hit harder than offering the best of oneself to someone and it still not being good enough. For the wrong person, even at our absolute best, we still won't be good enough .

Not everyone is worth our time, our explanations, not everyone deserves to know our real self, let them criticize who they think we are. Let them perceive what they have pre-assumed.

Our worth is way more than that mere explanation!

The right people will see right through us, understand our depths without needing explanations, and cherish us for who we are. They don't scrutinize us for trivial things. They value us. This connection fosters a fear not of losing us, but of losing the unique tapestry they weave with us.

A happy fulfilling life, is what we deserve and we have got all rights to walk away from something that doesn't make us happy, that degrades us into something we aren't, something that doesn't fit our standard.

The happiness that we cultivate through our actions and choices, the serenity we manifest, the fulfilled version of ourselves that we look up to. Anything that distorts it, needs to be left then and there without any guilt.

It's important to cut the cord before it breaks an important part of us.

I will share what I have learnt through this one line - 'Don't let anyone encroach your castle without fencing it'.

Build your boundaries, don't give people the pass to be able to get in and affect you. The one who gets in, gains the control of our emotions and how we feel. So, that pass is very expensive, only real deserving people can earn it :)
