What Ruined It?

Everything was so perfect just yesterday. And then the mood graph hit rock bottom from its pinnacle, a nosedive.

Weird is when sometimes even we don't know why we are upset. And we ask ourselves, 'Why am I upset for no reason?!'

A time when any little thing can hit us, we feel extra sensitive.

This transition ain't smooth, it is sudden and traumatic. From being on cloud nine to wondering what was I even made for, am I going the right way?

A small mistake at work, a missed appointment, a misunderstanding, a negative comment, a momentary self-doubt, or even a noise, can trigger a downward spiral. Switch off and everything turns meaningless; we get sad.

Favourite person going out of sight, skin glow going dull or having a breakout, a misplaced or deleted file, a slow internet connection, a malfunctioning device, a last-minute cancellation, ruminating on past mistakes, being yelled at, rush hour traffic, or dwelling on negative thoughts—any of these seemingly insignificant events can become a catalyst for despair.

And from there, the once effortless smile now requires immense effort and is replaced by a barrage of questions: "Why me? Why is this happening? Whyyy?"

Then come the thoughts, suggesting that 'I had been really happy, and then people put the evil eye on me, and now I am seeing this phase' or 'this is my bad luck'.

Well, I personally take that opinion as rubbish, no offense.

This is life; the reverse is also true. Sometimes, a small thing can also lift up the entire mood, like listening to favourite music, taking a walk in nature, having a healthy workout, or talking to our 'someone'.

We just get phases similar to moon, lit on a day, faded and merely visible on another. Bright and happy on one day, quiet and introspective on another.

Beginning from a blank new moon to a radiant full moon and back again. We love and wait for the full moon and at the same time beautify every phase of the moon, because no matter what moon is Moon, it has got it's charm anyway!

Imagine yourself like the moon, carrying a unique charm through every phase.

The dark new moon, a time of introspection and renewal, is a mysterious beauty. 🌑

The waxing crescent, growing in light, symbolizes hope and potential. 🌒

The full moon, radiant and luminous, is the pinnacle of fulfillment and abundance. 🌕

Just as the moon's phases are interconnected, each with its own beauty, so too are our lives. Embrace every phase, recognizing that each is an essential part of the cycle.

Remember, without the new moon's darkness, there can be no full moon's brilliance.

To know what's best for you, you've to feel what's worst.

Sometimes, things stop feeling perfect when the person who meant so much to you drifts apart. For some, it is a phase; for others, it is a part of life. Maybe it's not about the sadness but about the things and people we lost along the way, which many don't acknowledge.

Maybe someday, paths will cross again, and things will make more sense. Until then, hope you find peace in the moments that come your way.🕊️

Your words beautifully capture how sadness is a phase, much like the new moon's darkness before the full moon's light. Embrace these moments, for they lead to brighter days.

Even lost people and lost things teach you a lot

Wishing you peace as you navigate through, knowing that light always follows darkness. 🌙
